West Point staff hosted community members virtually on October 19, 2023. The meeting covers several current and near future construction projects at the West Point Treatment Plant.

Back in February we were pouring concrete for the foundation of the new battery building at West Point. Fast forward to today and look at how much progress we have made this summer. Now we're building the roof. The batteries will improve power quality and make sure we can ride through power sags during storms all to benefit clean water in Puget Sound.

This footage was shot at our West Point Wastewater Treatment Plant as part of a wastewater pump refurbishment. Three pumps have been in service since 1993 and are being rehabilitated before the storm season returns.
